1,254 miles in 365 days   by jay on Mar 25, 2010

Today's my one year anniversary tracking my daily bike miles ridden. As the screen shot below shows, I've ridden 1,254 miles since March 25, 2009. This is a big increase over previous years, though compared to my Planet Bike colleagues, that's barely respectable.) That's an average of 3 miles per day.

Greenlight is a website set up by the good folks at Quality Bicycle Products. It allows groups of people to form virtual teams and compete against each other. It's a fun way to get that little extra motivation to ride in on a crappy day.

The simple act of recording my miles each day has raised my awareness of how much I ride.
